Many dental hygienists recently gathered in Richmond, VA, for a fun and enriching weekend of professional development at Lightwave ELEVATE 2026. Together, attendees earned more than 800 CE credits.
Each year, hygienists from across the Lightwave community and beyond come together to build connections and celebrate excellence in hygiene. This year’s program featured Kelly Tanner, Ph.D., RDH, who shared her expertise with attendees. Jerry, RDH, known across the dental community for his social media persona, made a surprise appearance and reminded everyone that great education can be fun. Dr. Damon Thompson and newly appointed Lightwave CEO Dr. Clifton Cameron also took part.
ELEVATE pairs dynamic continuing education sessions with opportunities for peer connection, and closes with an awards program honoring top performers. It’s a chance to recognize the hygienists who lead clinical excellence in their practices every day, and their enthusiasm makes the weekend special for everyone involved.
